Team strives at EU simulation
A group of 15 students from the Center for International Relations and the modern languages department took home awards at a Model European Union simulation held Feb. 15 to 16 at the University of Pittsburgh.
The team, who represented Finland and Bulgaria in a series of debates about EU policy issues, earned top awards from judges.
Law students win mock trial
In a competition against students from 15 other law schools, Duquesne law students Finn Skovdal, Christy Gamble, John Woodruff and Danielle Wete took home first place at the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Regional Competition.
The competition was held from Feb. 13 to 17 during the Mid-Atlantic Black Law Students Associate Convention in Pittsburgh.
